Muir Pointe - Taylor Morrison at 625 John Muir Parkway, Hercules, California.

This builder, Taylor Morrison merged with Taylor Woodrow. TW built the Baywood homes closer down by the Hercules waterfront. I bought a home there in 2004, which was built on the parking lot for the model homes; so my home was one of the last ones to be built. They put in diffrent quality windows in neighbor's home that had to be switched out. They would not allow anyone, other then home buyers on the purchasr contract, to be with us on final inspection (not our children, and definitely no contractor friends). At closing they required flood insurance, yet there was no flood map indicating this requirement ( I did extensive research on this. When I told them I was buying FI through my own company, Allstate, they tried not to allow this to happen, but could not prevent it. Neighbors never received a flood policy for their money). When it was time for first annual renewal, TW then said the requirement had been lifted. ??? Like with any home builder, just be aware and be informed.
